This short film, Making Markets Work in Africa, by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) provides a quick overview of the challenges faced by African farmers in participating in agricultural markets.  The video is presented in simple words but the challenges facing smallholder farmers are complex.  This film opens a window so that you can share the space of the African subsistence farmer through a series of brief profiles which are both tasteful and understated.
