About

foodpolicy.co.uk is an independent service for food policy researchers, decision-makers and enthusiasts.  The intention of this service is to create a library of food policy documents, current affairs and events which can be accessed in one location.  Much of the content located here is sourced from other internet publishers; in such cases, content is presented as objectively as possible and without opinion. Editorial content seeks to be responsible, balanced and rooted in evidence-based research.

Your constructive feedback is always welcome.

Ryan Frederick Bromley

An MSc-Food Policy graduate from London’s pioneering Centre for Food Policy, City University, Ryan has recently returned from Rome where he was working with the United Nations World Food Program, Division of Operational Management and Emergency Preparedness (OMEP). Prior to that, Ryan worked as a PR consultant in Poland developing food-related brand campaigns and events for international luxury-goods clients. As Executive Chef for the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Poland Ryan crafted distinctive meals for Heads-of-States, Royalty, and celebrities before arriving in London to chef in some of the city’s most exclusive venues.

Ryan combines his technical and academic training, a breadth of international experiences, a deep passion for food and food policy issues, and an optimistic world view with the belief that his efforts can help to build a better food system.
